Though the structure of the meeting is the same, we use two different formats for our meetings. The business format simulates a corporate boardroom setting and the traditional dinner format simulates the environment of an after-dinner speech.

Seating:Chair & TM
Seated at front of room. Both roles move to side of table when speaker approaches.
As desired.
Clapping
No clapping except for:
¨ welcoming of guests
¨ introduction of speakers
¨ conclusion of speeches
Clapping encouraged for all assigned roles and meeting participants.
Role Etiquette (speeches exempt)
All roles remain seated.
Standing encouraged.
Table Topics Etiquette
Remain seated throughout.
Standing encouraged
Lectern
Speakers should avoid using lectern.
Use of lectern is acceptable although members are encouraged to avoid using it.
